SevaYatra works with NGOs across India. Our initial focus is in urban areas or areas surrounding urban centers in order to make the service projects easily accessible to individuals traveling on pleasure or business to India. This will also ensure easier access to Indian residents in urban centers who need not go too far from home to serve.
We will also work at developing service opportunities near tourist sites in order to encourage tourists to consider "voluntourism" while on vacation. Some tourist locations to be initially targeted will be Rajasthan and Kerala. We are however not restricting ourselves to those states in any way.

We will be working with NGOs in rural areas as well, in order to develop SevaYatra Camps. These would typically be for a longer duration and mostly customized for specialized groups. Examples of these would be medical or educational camps where individuals would have the opportunity to dive into a service experience for 3-7 days and would travel to such locations with service being the primary objective for their stay.
